Meet the Team

Hello!

I am Kirstine, the priest at St Mary Mags.

I grew up on an estate in Bath, but London has been home for over twenty years. I've always loved the creative arts, and spent my twenties working as a make-up artist, which I loved! Eventually, having come back to faith, I felt called to work for a church called St Mary's London, starting as a children's worker, moving to community pastor, and then training as a vicar. And now I am here, deeply excited to get stuck into life at St Mary Mags.

My hope is that we continue to be genuinely part of the community, not just a building people visit, but a place where people can belong, faith or no faith. If you have ideas for how we can connect with and serve the people around us, I would love to hear them.

The important things to know about me: I do not function without a coffee (I will be a regular in the café), I adore music and I detest baked beans.
